    WARNING: Alleged threat of Abu Sayyaf to bomb any SM Mall branch! PLEASE SHARE

    A letter came from National Headquarters Philippine National Police Directorate for Intelligence was circulating on social media regarding a threat from Abu Sayyaf Group to bomb any SM Mall branch.

    The letter was signed by Police Senior Superintendent Vicente D. Danao Jr., dated February 3, 2017.

    According to the letter, the ASG was asking for $15 million and the SM only have 1 week to give what they're asking for.

    "From SM Officers, hi guys! Just an update we got a call from abu sayaf right now asking SM for $15 million or else they're going to bomb the mall. We have 1 week to do that. We are on high alert now. Tell yor love one, friends, and coworkers better avoid any SM branch for the mean time. Better be safe than sorry. We are doing close security after receiving the call this morning. Don't post on your walls as per request of the officer. But do inform relatives and friends. Please private message only. (This is from BCD SM ADMIN Kyla Avonahceh. Please don't post it on your wall. Kindly pass this on your friends. Thank you.
