    BREAKING NEWS: Millions of Cash Nakita sa loob ng pader ng Mayor's Office sa Makati City Hall !!


    News about the cash found behind the walls of Makati City Hall is making rounds online especially on Social Media.

    On Thursday, January 5, 2017, carpenters from a local Handyman company who were conducting wall repairs reportedly found a bundle of 500-Peso bills wrapped in plastic. Another worker found five more bundles as they continue to break the old walls. The workers then reported the findings to their supervisor, who also informed the office of the City Administrator.

    City Administrator Atty. Eleno M. Mendoza, Jr. ordered to halt the repair and turned-over the site to Makati Police.

    As of January 5, police said the total amount found behind the walls of Mayor’s Office has reached 4,756,500 pesos (4.7 million).

    Police said most of the cash were found behind the walls facing the Mayor’s table (back of the mayor’s seat).

    The contractor was ordered to replace the Narra walls with marine plywood after the Supreme Court released its decision on controversial former mayor Jun Jun Binay.

    “Isang side pa lang ang tinanggal at ito ang nakita ng ating mga workers. Hindi natin inaalis ang posibilidad na meron pang mga nakatago sa other 3 sides, or sa sahig, or sa kisame. I-checheck natin lahat”, Senior Police Officer 4 (SPO4) Eleodoro Madlangbayan told the press on Friday
